A Signable alternative with a free plan and monthly billing
Signable is a UK e-signature provider from Bristol that prices by envelope rather than by user: pay as you go from £2.60 per envelope, Essentials at £480 + VAT a year for 300 envelopes, and Business and Enterprise plans from 1,200 and 5,000 envelopes through sales, all with unlimited users. eSignSimple prices per account: free for 3 documents a month, $4.99/month for 25, and $9.99/month for unlimited documents. If you have many senders, need AES or want UK-hosted data and phone support, Signable is a strong pick.
Signable has been selling e-signatures to UK businesses for years, and its site now lives at signable.com. Its plans grow with envelope volume, not headcount: every plan includes unlimited users and templates, advanced electronic signatures (AES), digital signing and two-factor authentication for signers. Essentials adds your branding; Business adds API access, teams, bulk send, concierge onboarding and IP allowlisting; Enterprise adds SSO, an account manager and premium support.
On annual plans the full envelope allowance is available upfront. If you go over, Business and Enterprise customers can buy extra bundles, otherwise an overage fee applies per envelope. Signable says its data is UK-hosted on AWS, that it is ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials certified, and that it offers UK phone support. It integrates with Google Drive, Google Docs, Zapier, Make, HubSpot and Slack, and UK-registered charities get 10% off their first annual year.
eSignSimple is cheaper for small senders and does less. Signers open an email link and sign, and each completed document gets an audit trail and a certificate of completion with a SHA-256 hash. We provide simple electronic signatures only, with no signer two-factor authentication. Under English law, a simple electronic signature is admissible and usually enough for commercial contracts; deeds that need a witness are trickier. See our United Kingdom guide.

Our take
Signable is a solid, honest UK product, and its unlimited-users model is genuinely good value for organizations with many occasional senders. If you need AES, UK hosting or phone support, it is the better choice. Read our United Kingdom guide on when that matters.
For one person or a small team, a free plan and $9.99/month for unlimited documents usually costs less than an envelope allowance, and there's no annual commitment. Compare also Dropbox Sign and DocuSign if you are weighing bigger names.
We compare published features and prices from each vendor's own website and list the sources above. Where we could not verify something, we say so.
