A Formstack Sign alternative for teams that only need signatures
Formstack's pricing page no longer lists Formstack Sign as a standalone plan: e-signatures come with the Suite plan (Forms + Documents + Sign) from $250/month paid annually, or $299 month to month, with 3 builder users, unlimited e-signatures and 250 document deliveries a month. eSignSimple does one thing, sending documents for signature, from $0 for 3 documents a month to $9.99/month for unlimited documents. If you want forms, document generation and signing in one no-code platform, or deep Salesforce work, Formstack is the stronger choice.
Formstack is best known for its online form builder, and it grew into a suite with document generation (Formstack Documents) and e-signatures (Formstack Sign). On the pricing page we checked, the Forms plan starts at $83/month paid annually without signatures, and the only listed plan that includes e-signatures is Suite at $250/month paid annually. Salesforce Solutions and Enterprise plans are custom priced; Enterprise lists API access and SSO.
Formstack Sign itself is a capable tool. Its product page describes uploading DOCX, PDF, PPTX and CSV files, adding fields such as initials, checkboxes and radio buttons, sending to several signers in order by email or SMS, automated email and text reminders, reusable templates, an audit trail on every signed document and an open API. The pricing page highlights that there are no per-envelope fees.
eSignSimple is far narrower. We don't build forms that feed databases, and we don't generate documents from data. You upload a PDF or Word file, place fields, and send. Signers need no account, every document gets an audit trail and a certificate of completion, and you get templates, web forms for single-signer paperwork and bulk send on Silver.

Formstack is a strong platform for teams that live in forms and automated documents, and Sign makes sense inside that bundle. If you collect data, merge it into documents and need signatures at the end, it is a coherent package we don't try to match.
