A Nitro Sign alternative for freelancers and small teams
Nitro sells Nitro PDF and Nitro Sign to businesses on annual per-user plans with a 14-day trial; its pricing page did not show dollar amounts when we checked, and Plus and Enterprise are sold through sales. Nitro Sign Enterprise adds ID verification and QES. eSignSimple is for individuals: 5 free documents a month, unlimited for $4.99/month ($1.99/week or $39.99/year), simple e-signatures only.
Nitro is best known for its Windows PDF editor, a long-time Acrobat rival, and has grown Nitro Sign into an e-signature product for companies. Its plans are sold per user, billed annually, with Plus and Enterprise tiers quoted by sales. You can buy up to 20 licenses online.
eSignSimple is a small hosted tool. No installs, no annual contract: upload a PDF or Word file, place fields, send, and get an audit trail and certificate of completion. We offer simple electronic signatures only.
